SOC Constitution & By-Laws

Adopted September 30, 1965 amended June 24, 2017

The Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ, formed January 1, 1966 by the union of The Southern Convention of Congregational Christian Churches, Inc., The Convention of the South of Congregational Christian Churches, Inc., and the Southern Synod of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, Inc., in order to express more fully the oneness in Christ of the churches composing it, to make more effective their common witness in Him, and to serve His Kingdom in the world, hereby adopts this Constitution.
